Alan Hale (Biography ) Alan Hale (Proprietor of Alzone) has been tattooing since 1995. He began in the early days by designing tattoos for friends. He then went on to befriend a local tattoo artist (Gary Whitman) who had been working for 15 years and agreed to help him out. A few years down the line, Alzone Tattoo Studio was formed in Gloucester in the back of a hair salon, this proved to be unsuitable premises for the art of Tattooing.  During this period, he built up a good reputation both locally and nationally, thus creating a high demand for his artwork.
         In April 2000 the new Alzone  as it is today was born providing a welcome opportunity for expansion within it's newly refurbished, highly clinical building.  It was here that AL really began to get his teeth in to his Black and Grey DEMONIC Artwork that he constantly craves to do that  has now firmly established him as one of the Crème de la Crème of one of the top UK Award Winning Tattoo Artists.  His work has now been published constantly over the last 7 years in Skin Deep Magazine, The Sun, The Mirror, Tattoo Magazine, Back Street Heroes Magazine, AWOL Magazine and The Echo and Citizen local newspapers.  AL has also appeared on National Television 3 times for his tattoo work.
          In 1999 AL won 3 awards for his work after working at some of the national tattoo conventions around the country this gave him the taste to go along and enter his artwork into the competitions held at Tattoo Conventions.  2000 saw Al win 2 more awards for his artwork 2001 bought another 2 awards 2002 he got 2 further awards and 1 award so far for 2004.   AL has constantly been present at all of the Tattoo conventions around Europe and has now won 10 Recognised Awards for his admirable artwork his latest award being at Slough International Tattoo Convention for The Best Tattoo of the Day.  He also plans to be doing more work around Europe at other conventions in 2005, and also plans over the next 2 years to be doing some work in America.
